I’m excited to announce my participation in Prof. Pinkerton (Dead Man’s Carnival) presents “Yesterday Is Here” — a live music circus tribute show to Tom Waits in celebration of the 30th anniversary of his album “Franks Wild Years”. Yesterday Is Here features original arrangements and story line inspired by his compelling characters and dream like lyrical themes. Multiple show dates are scheduled across the Midwest in Milwaukee, La Crosse, Madison, St. Louis, Logansport (IN), Toledo (OH), and Chicago during the month of December with additional dates and locations TBA.
I have listed the shows that I am present in on my Events page. Tickets range from $10-20 depending on date of purchase and location. Shows range from “All Ages” to 21+ depending on venue.
In addition to witnessing an artful Tom Waits tribute complete with a live band and mind blowing circus acts, you will also have the opportunity to purchase merch from Dead Man’s Carnival and myself. Commemorate the evening! I will have a limited number of poster size prints available for purchase. I also have ONE sword tip available for purchase for a lucky collector. When a blade is too long to be swallowed from hilt to tip, I cut it down to size; you can take home a piece of one of my swords.
About Dead Man’s Carnival:
Dead Man’s Carnival is a Milwaukee based Live music variety show. The show Combines our love for turn of the century Vaudeville with the uncompromising passion of the Do-it-yourself underground punk rock community. Acting as more than just an evening of entertainment, we create a time and place for unusual displays that would otherwise have no place to bloom. The show is presented in a format that emphasizes crowd interaction, improvisation, and inner group collaboration. With a rotating cast of dozens of performers from all over the country we are writing the next chapter in Wisconsin’s long Circus legacy.
